Ashley’s Angels Fund was established following 2-year-old Ashley’s liver transplant at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, Canada. They were established to raise funds in support of research, education, and innovation targeted at enhancing both the quality and quantity of life-years restored by transplantation at SickKids as well as raise awareness for organ and tissue donation. This 6th annual Angels Catwalk for SickKids is one of Toronto’s most anticipated charitable events. Building on the success of the past five years, this premier red carpet event featured some of the hottest fashions to walk across the runway, tantalizing temptations from the city’s top restaurants and caterers, as well as heavenly cocktails. Over the past five years, the Angels Catwalk for SickKids event has raised over 1 million dollars. Ashley’s Angel's success now ranks as one of the top 3rd party fundraising initiatives that take place in support of SickKids!
ONTARIO PC LEADER'S DINNER
2019 Toronto Leader's Dinner, a fundraiser for the Ontario PC Party. The event featured the Ontario PC Caucus and included the keynote speaker of the evening, Ontario PC Party Leader, Doug Ford. Ministers from the Ford government dined with party members, volunteers, donors and stakeholders that evening. The Ontario’s Progressive Conservatives took a victory lap inside the legislature after what the party called the largest fundraiser in Canadian history, with over 3,100 attendees and raising an estimated total of $4 million. “In spite of the fact that there was a winter storm last night, there were over 3,100 people who attended the event last night,” said Economic Development Minister Todd Smith, who was in attendance. “It happens to be the most successful political fundraiser in Canadian history.”
AUTISM SPEAKS CANADA
Autism Speaks Canada is a national Canadian charity, dedicated to promoting solutions across the spectrum and along a life span for the needs of people with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Autism Speaks 2 Young Professionals (AS2YP) supports Autism Speaks Canada and its efforts to enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow. The proceeds from this event <SENSESATIONS> funded Autism Speaks Canada's support of services across the country, including employment and employment readiness initiatives. AS2YP collaborate with autistic adults and other stakeholders to change the odds of employment success for people with autism, help autistic individuals build employable skills and create more inclusive workplaces, and host job fairs to match autistic individuals with potential employers across major cities in Canada.
